IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janet Lee
Bolandis
December 29, 1950 – January 29, 2026
Janet Lee Bolandis of Maryville passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, to join her beloved husband of 52 years, Jerry, who preceded her in death by only ten days. Jerry and Janet were inseparable and never did anything without the other.
Janet was born on December 29, 1950, in Granite City to Venor and Wanda (Redmon) Yeager. She married Jerry Bolandis on March 3, 1973, and remained a lifelong resident of Granite City until moving to Maryville in 2011.
Janet spent her professional career in the banking industry. She found great joy in the spring, summer, and fall months, which she often spent relaxing on her back deck. An avid reader, she particularly enjoyed biographies, magazines, and the novels of Debbie Macomber. She also had a great love for Christmas and took pride in decorating her home for the holiday. She alway told you like it is and you never knew what she may say, but that is one the many things that we loved about her.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth (Tim) Bartels and Brooke (Scott) Boyer, and seven grandchildren: Molly (Ethan) Suttles, Samuel Bartels, Alex and Reese Boyer, Christian Pfeiffer, and Andrew and Jakob Bolandis. A very special Sister Linda (David) Wallace and nieces Rochelle Scherrer and Tina (Chad) Evans and their families,
The family greatly appreciates all that Linda and David have done over the past years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry who passed on January 19th, son Matthew Bolandis December 29, 2017 her parents Venor and Wanda Yeager and in-laws Albert and Gerda Bolandis.
Mama we love you and will miss you- Your Girls
