Janet R. Levingston

Janet R., nee Taylor, Levingston, 74, of Collinsville, Ill., born August 6, 1942, in Jacksonville, Ill., passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, in Collinsville, Ill.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, grand mother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She retired from the Collinsville Unit 10 School District after 22 years of dedicated service. Janet''s faith in God led her to Collinsville First Baptist Church where she was very active with Seniors on the Go and the church library.

She was preceded in death by her parents Keith and Ruth, nee Draper, Taylor; daughter, Donnie Sue Little.

Surviving are her loving husband Harry Levingston, whom she married July 14, 2007, in Collinsville, Ill.; children, Linda Little-Fosnock of Collinsville, Ill., Brian Babb of Collinsville, Ill., Trisha Babb-Carlton of Collinsville, Ill. and Kevin Babb of St. Louis, Mo.; brother, Ronald Taylor of Wi.; sister, Linda Flosi of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; her 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Collinsville First Baptist Church, located at 723 St. Louis Road in Collinsville, Ill. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
