Janet Raffety, 82, of Collinsville, IL, passed away at Oak Hill in Waterloo, IL on Sunday, February 21 ^st . She was born in Roodhouse, IL on June 26, 1938.

Janet grew up in Roodhouse and graduated from Roodhouse High School. She married Wendell Raffety on June 15, 1956. Janet was a bookkeeper for Mindrup Continental Motors in Edwardsville and retired in 1996.

Janet loved to fish and to travel, especially to visit family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Raffety and special friend Dale Sparks.

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Jon) Hester of Glen Carbon, IL, Kyla (Steve) Cummins of Burkburnett, TX, Kathy (David) Munoz of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren Erin (Keith) Milkert, Zachary Hester, Brianne (Ryan) Brooks, Dylan (Morgan) Cummins and Mikayla Leveling; and great-grandchildren Owen Milkert, Sam Milkert, and Kellan Brooks.

The family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date.

Memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ in Collinsville, IL, where she was a member.
