Janet Renee Strackeljahn, 55, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away September 29 ^th , 2018. She was born East St. Louis, Illinois, on May 1 ^st , 1963 to Ferdinand and Barbara (Biggins) Strackeljahn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, uncles, Bill and Bob Biggins; grandparents, Joseph and Helen Biggins and one brother-in-law, Michael Bratcher.

Janet is survived by one sister, Louise Simms of Granite City, Illinois and one brother John (Lisa) Strackeljahn of Dupo, Illinois. She is further survived by nieces, Danielle (Troy) Helgeson and their son Cole of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Chelsie (John) Strackeljahn of St. Louis, Missouri, Jennifer ** Bratcher of Texas, one uncle, Jim (Irene) Biggins of St. Louis, Missouri, one aunt, Sue Biggins of

Cousins, Antoinette (Bill) McFarland, Cathy Strackeljahn, Cherry, John, Tim and Tony Biggins, Karen Shanbaum and Lance Shanbaum and Robert Biggins and Crissy Biggins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 5 ^th , 2018 at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois.

Funeral will follow on Saturday, October 6 ^th , 2018 at 11:00 am at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois.

Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Collinsville, Illinois.
