Janet Gay Thomas, nee Hoffstetter, of Edwardsville, IL passed away January 10, 2021 at the age of 69.  She was a member of the 1969 graduating class of Lutheran High School North in St. Louis, MO.  Janet retired in 1998 and enjoyed spending all of her time with friends, family and especially her four grandchildren.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents Harry G. Hoffstetter and Ella G. (Boland) Hoffstetter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Bob Thomas; her children Michele Mann, of Glen Carbon, IL, Michael (Mary Ann) Thomas, of Collinsville, IL and Stephen (Shuai) Thomas, of Springdale, UT; her grandchildren Jacob Cottrell, Tyler Thomas, Spencer Thomas, Olivia Thomas, her brother, Rev. Gary (Marilyn) Hoffstetter, of Jackson, MO and several nieces and nephews.

With COVID-19 restrictions in place, a private family service and burial will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Glen Carbon, IL.
