Janice Elaine Brogan, nee Fagan, 75, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on September 1st, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born on July 9th, 1951, in Spangler, PA, to parents John and Martha Fagan. 

Janice got her BS in Music Education from the Clarion University of PA. Following that, she did some graduate work at Northern Arizona University as well as took a few classes in Aviation and Accounting. 

She met her late husband, Brian S. Brogan, at the Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma, where they were both stationed. They traveled all over Europe and the United States, with their only son, (Brian) Scott Brogan, being born at Royal Air Force Lakenheath in England. Janice and Brian were both long-time parishioners of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Glen Carbon, IL. 

Preceding Janice in death are her beloved husband, Brian; her parents, John and Martha; as well as a brother, Orrin Fagan. She is survived by her son, Scott. 

A public visitation will be held from the chapel of Sunset Hill Funeral Home on Friday, September 11th, 2026, from 10 AM until the hour of service at 11 AM. Burial will immediately follow the service, proceeding to Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.
