Jeanne A. Stephenson, nee Aper, 83, of Collinsville, Ill., born Wednesday, April 22, 1931, in Sterling, Ill., passed away at 4:04 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Mrs. Stephenson was a member of Our Lord's Lutheran Church in Maryville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linus Stephenson, whom she married on Feb. 15, 1952; her parents, John G. and Helen, nee Reigle, Aper; and a daughter, Margo Royer.

Surviving are two granddaughters, Courtney and Maryanne; and her sister, Gail Gibson of Morrison, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at McDonald Funeral Home with Pastor John Lottes officiating. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, Ill.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, at Our Lord's Lutheran Church in Maryville, Ill., with a Fellowship Following.
