Jeanne A. Vick, of Collinsville, IL passed away on June 25th, 2025 in Orlando, FL, 10-days shy of her 97th birthday. She was born July 5th, 1928 and married Harold F. Vick in 1946, who preceded her in death in 2008.  She is also preceded in death by her sister Eloise Everett and brothers Roy and John Bauer.  Jeanne is survived by her Son, Harold Gene Vick, and her grandchildren, Joshua Vick, and Mandi Schook along with many nieces, nephews and children at the church who have come to know her as family over the years.

Jeanne enjoyed a long life, spending many happy years on a small farm in Collinsville, IL where she enjoyed gardening, canning, painting with pastels, and spending time with family, often having large gatherings and festivities every summer.  She also loved her church family very much and contributed in many ways including teaching Sunday school and serving on the accounting committee as well as serving Meals on Wheels, the SAFARI committee and being a member of Faith in Action, driving others to needed appointments.

She will be loved and remembered as someone who always took care of others, whether they were members of the family, church or community.

A public visitation will be held from the Chapel of Sunset Hill Funeral on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. A service will be held at Meadow Heights Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
