Jeannetta Leitsch, 82, of Collinsville, IL, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 8th, 2026, with her loving daughter by her side. She was born on January 20, 1944, in Caseyville, IL, to parents, Benjamin and Lillian Rigsby (Arnold). 

Jeannetta had multiple jobs throughout her life while raising her daughter, Kelly. When she met and married John Leitsch, in 1988, she was able to retire and become a homemaker. They remained happily married until his passing in 2008. 

She loved her family; she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Some of her favorite memories were of getting the family together for holidays and to celebrate birthdays. When she wasn't busy making her house a home, she could be found shopping, looking for new trinkets to add to her many collections. Her life revolved around her family and her family's lives revolved around her. It will be hard without her, and they will miss her terribly. 

Preceding Jeannetta in death are her beloved husband, John Leitsch; parents, Benjamin and Lillian Rigsby; her brothers, Edward and Lloyd Rigsby; and sister, Betty Tate (Rigsby). Survivors include her daughter, Kelly (Ron) Smith (Koonce); siblings, Francis "Frankie" Kuegler (Rigsby) and Perry Rigsby; grandkids, Mandy Williams, Melisa Shepard (Williams), Megan (Zach) Brandt (Williams), and Matthew (Danielle) Williams; great grandkids, Mason Dreyfus, Callaghan Dreyfus, Nash Brandt, Maren Smith, and Monroe Williams; as well as numerous cousins in Melbourne, Florida and Shawneetown, Illinois.

A private burial will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
