Jeffrey "PK" Allen Cox, 60, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He was born on May 28, 1963 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to parents, Rev. Charles and Mary Cox.

Jeff was extremely multi-talented, and loved being outdoors, especially when riding his motorcycle. He had a heart of gold, and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Jeff was kind, caring, and giving. He had a special love for all the children around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev.Charles and Mary Cox; daughter, Jennifer Ward; grandson, Xander Cox; brother, Ricky Cox; nephew, Flinten Cox-Thompson; and niece and nephew, Brandi and Randy Cox-Thompson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Denise Gibson Cox; children, Matthew Ward and Vanessa Bell; fourteen grandchildren, Gabby, George, Matthew, Daysha, Caden, Camryn, Aja, Konnor, Bentley, Kimora, Malayah, Mckenna, Carter, and Maverick; one great-grandchild, Elias; siblings, Cindy Harsh and Timmy Cox; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; dear friend, Paul Cauwenbergh; and many, many more extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive in Glen Carbon, Illinois on Monday, July 24, 2023. Family will receive guests from 5:30pm-7:00pm. The funeral will follow at 7:00pm, with Rev. Harry Chronister officiating.
