Jeremy Ray Steven Wright, 31, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on August 13, 2021.

Jeremy was born to Phillip Eugene Wright and Wendy Kay (Schmittling) on January 1, 1990, in
Belleville, Illinois.

He enjoyed new experiences and making memories, he liked spending time in the outdoors as
well as just being home. He enjoyed listening to music, learning new things whether they be
spiritually or educational, and going to the gym was something he loved. He had a big heart and
enjoyed being there for others.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Wright; and grandfather, Richard Russell Wright.

Survivors include his mother, Wendy (Bryan) Schmittling of O'Fallon, Illinois; father, Phillip
(Susan) Wright of Brighton, Illinois; daughters: Emma and Miley Wright; grandparents: Sandra
and Steve Cseley of Collinsville, Illinois; sisters: Jennifer Black of Collinsville, Illinois, Melissa
(Jose) Ramirez of Collinsville, Illinois, and Jamie Wright of Belleville, Illinois; several nieces and
nephews; girlfriend; Candace Hancock; and Steve Clark and family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main, Collinsville, Illinois. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Habermehl officiating.  Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
