Jerry B. Brown Sr.

Jerry B. Brown Sr. 76 of Maryville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday April 4, 2017. He was born in Doniphan, Missouri the son of the late James A. and Eva Juanita Brown nee Johnson. He was also preceded by one brother at infancy James and sister-in-law Jackie Brown.

Jerry was a hard working family man who loved his children and grandchildren. He retired as a truck driver from USF Holland. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was also member of the Collinsville Recreation Club.

Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley A. Brown nee Kane whom he married on July 11, 1963. Daughter Brenda (Jeff) Brown-Schleper of Glen Carbon, Illinois, sons Jerry Brown Jr. of Maryville, Ill., James (Dawn) Brown of Glen Carbon, Illinois and Jeffrey Brown of Granite City, Ill. Brothers Billy Brown of Collinsville, Ill. and Kenneth (Angela) Brown of Summerville, South Carolina and grandchildren Alexis, Jacob,, Lauren, Blaine and Jacobi.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation and condolences for the family may be expressed through this online guestbook.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Services: Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday April 7, 2017 at 9:00 AM with Rev. Roger Wright officiating and interment will follow immediately with military honors at the Jefferson " Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
