Jerry Wayne Eichelberger, 70, of Caseyville, Ill., born Monday, Feb. 21, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo., died Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Jerry was a member of First Baptist church, Collinsville, Ill. Prior to retiring, Jerry was a carpenter at Fox 2 in St. Louis, Mo. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam conflict. He loved animals, was a member of the local bass club and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen, nee Meyer, Eichelberger.

Surviving are two daughters, Danielle (Douglas) Wedeking of Belleville, Ill., and Tammy Kelly; a brother, Kenny (Beverly) Eichelberger of Pilot, Grove, Mo.; a sister, Bernice (Jim) Stroud of Collinsville, Ill., and two grandchildren.
