Jesse Richard "Rick" Ives, 56, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 21, 1954, in Little Rock, Ark., died at 4:10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.



Mr. Ives was a member of Laborers Local No. 42.



Jesse was preceded in death by his mother Delana, Childress, Michels.



Surviving are his wife, Karen, nee Daggett, Ives of Troy, Ill.; sons, Jesse Ives of Troy, Ill., and Gary (Jennifer) Stone of Highland, Ill.; grandsons, Garrin and Grayson Stone; father, James Michels of Highland, Ill.; sisters, Becky Michels of Highland, Ill., and Brenda Thompson of Highland, Ill.
