COLLINSVILLE- Jimmy Ray Trowbridge, 76, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away November 21, 2018. He was born on August 10 ^th , 1942 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Walter and Edna (Dunlap) Trowbridge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Gary Trowbridge, Walter "Sonny" Trowbridge, and Donald "Bud" Trowbridge.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Ilene (Russell) Trowbridge; children, Tammy (Kirk) Hager of Highland, Illinois, Theresa (Robert) Tackett of Levenworth, Kansas; grandchildren, Shannon M. (Kymar) Granger, Justin M. (Jessica) Hager, Sara (David) McFarland, and great-grand children, Zackary Granger, Jaiden Granger and Mia Rose Hager.

He is also survived by sister, Kathryn (E.C.) Chandler and brother, Larry (Marilyn) Trowbridge.

Jimmy worked as a Chemical Operator for General Chemical from 1965-1999.

Visitation will be Monday, November 26 ^th , 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois.

Funeral will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

Rites of Cremation will follow.
