Joan F. Guglielmo

Joan, nee Myers, Guglielmo, 82, of Collinsville, IL., born September 2, 1935, in Rome, NY., passed away April 6, 2018, in Collinsville, IL., after a 20 year courageous battle with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy.

Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family.  She retired from the U.S. Government working at Scott Air Force Base. After her career with the government she worked as a guide on bus tours to Indian Reservations.  Playing bingo was a passion of Joan's, she played five nights a week.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ida, nee Armstrong, Myers; her brother, Russell Myers.

Surviving are her loving husband Anthony Guglielmo; her children, Clifford L. (Pattie) Hash of Washington D.C.., Bruce L. (Patti) Hash of Kansas City, MO., Anthony P. (Sue) Guglielmo of Edwardsville, IL., Valerie (Mark) Holdener of Troy, IL., ; her stepson David Guglielmo of Rome, NY., ; her stepdaughters, Dawn (Jim) Beers of Rome, NY., Dana (Robin) St. Pierre of CT.; her grandchildren, Mandy, Kyle, Anthony, Whitney, Alex, Kaela, Kendra, Evangelina, Anne Marie, Danny, Trisha and Tiffany; her great-grandchildren Zoey and Lily Mae; and one brother, William "Billy" Myers of Rome, N.Y.

Funeral:  Open House and Celebration of Life service will be 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the family residence.
