Joan Lee(Mitchell) Leasure, 85, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away Friday, November 9 th , 2018 at her residence surrounded by family and her beloved Tia. She was born December 3 rd , 1932 in Belleville, Illinois to Edward and Jane (Nicholson) Grabowsky.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Alice Siddens, a Son Christopher Mitchell and husband, James A. Mitchell and Aurther Ritter.

Joan is survived by children , Tamy (Rick) Collins of Edwardsville, Illinois, Marcie (Alan) Jones of Birmingham, Alabama, Tyler (Kim) Mitchell of Pompano Beach, Florida and Wesley Mitchell of Pompano Beach, Florida.

She is further survived by grandchildren Ryan Collins of Wood River, Jessa(Drew)Helm of Edwardsville Illinois, Jacob(Michelle)Mitchell of Bethalto Illinois ,Jaime Mitchell of Hamel, Illinois

Morgan and Marissa Jones of Birmingham Alabama

Great grandchildren Ryder Collins, Parker, Mabrey and Henley Helm , Nora and Reid Mitchell.

She retired as a Se cretary from Wood River High and Lakin Law Offices . Joan raised and raced thoroughbred racehorses, adopted Retired greyhounds and retired and spent many years in Port St. Lucie, Florida until she moved to daughters lake home and enjoyed pontoon rides and sitting on deck viewing the lake and watching the ducks, hummingbirds and watching for deer and family time!

Per Joan's request, all service will be held a later date in Florida
