Joan Ruth Ludwig, 84 years old, was born on August 13, 1936, in Chicago, IL, and passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, in Wentzville, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Ludwig, her parents, John and Elizabeth Latin, and her daughter, Susan (Randy) Elam.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Debbie (David) Ilges, and Linda Hanes, her grandchildren, Mathew Elam, Chris (Jessica) Elam, Laura (Chris) Hagin, Sarah (Kyle) Ream, and Mark Hanes, her step-grandchildren, Becky (Owen) Gregory, Nicole Ilges, and Michael (Sadie Gerau) Ilges, six great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made out to Dardenne Presbyterian Church, 7400 S. Outer Rd. 364, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368, or they can be made to the Salvation Army.

Due to the COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held in honor of Joan.
