Joanne Katherine Mount, aged 88, passed away peacefully on November 24th, 2024. She was born on September 13th, 1936, in Glen Carbon, Illinois, to parents Joseph T. and Electa Marie (Flory) Primas.

She is survived by children Terri (Kuni) Garber, Debbie Levora, and Jeff (Kim) Mount; Sister, Linda (Gary) Ebers; four Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend Elaine.

She was preceded in death by brother Thomas Primas, son Bart D. Mount, grandson Kenneth K. Levora and niece Michelle R Onkle.

Joanne worked in the tax office of Mrs. West and was also with former Senator Evelyn Bowles. Her home was always full of beautiful plants and an abundance of flowers outside. She enjoyed motorcycle races, Nascar, reading and embroidering. She loved her pets Heather, Mitze and Mickey.

There will be a graveside service at Sunset Hill Cemetery on December 5th at 2:00pm.
