John S. Cochran, 63, of Troy, Ill., born Dec. 27, 1950, in Highland, Ill., died at 5:43 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
John was employed at Eaton B-Line in Troy, Ill. He was a member of Carpenter's Local 295 and Machinist Local 664. John was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. He always prepared the fish for the family fish fries.
He was preceded in death by his father, DeLoris Cochran Sr.
John is survived by "His Bride" Martha, nee Stewart, Cochran, whom he married on June 29, 1970, in Collinsville, Ill. They had a love of a lifetime, being together since they were children. He very much enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, Nikolas, Victoria, Christian, Krista, Collan and Decoda. He is also survived by his mother, Irene, nee Hoskin, Cochran of Collinsville, Ill.; daughter, Kelli Cochran of Troy, Ill.; son , Kevin (Cheryl) Cochran of Troy, Ill.; sisters, Jeanette Harris, Phyllis Crumer, Sandra Vaughn, Virginia Michaels, Michelle Travis and Emily Cochran; brothers, DeLoris Cochran Jr., Donald Cochran and Dale Cochran; mother-in-law, Doris Stewart; his six grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
