Mr. John Gages, 86, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Jan. 7, 1929, in Madison, Ill., died Saturday October 31, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

He owned his own warehouse and pallet rack business for over 44 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Verna, nee Yevin, Gages.

Surviving are his wife, Deloris, nee Melton, Gages whom he married in Granite City, Ill., in 1965; a daughter, Susan Marie and her husband Bo Wedmore of Troy, Ill.; two grandchildren, James and Logan Wedmore of Troy, Ill.; and a sister, Dorothy Walker of Alexandria, Va.

Funeral: Private Funeral services and entombment were handled by the Sunset Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Tom Hufty conducting the services.
