Johnie Roy Qualls, 45, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on October 6, 2021, at his home after a lengthy fight of cancer.

Johnie was born March 16, 1976, to David and Marsha (Riley) Qualls in Belleville, Illinois.

He was an artist, a painter, enjoyed building cars, and drag races.  He was his brothers "partner in crime".

Johnie was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Marsha Markle and his step-dad, Brian Markle of Collinsville, Illinois; son, Robert Raymond Riley of Peoria, Illinois; brother, Joseph Walsh Sr. and wife Lora of Collinsville, Illinois; aunt, Sheila (Dennis) Ford of Collinsville, Illinois; nephew, Joseph Walsh Jr.; niece, Kerston (Cameron Corvallis) Walsh; nephew, Vincent (Lauren) Walsh; and niece, Katie (Timothy) Brimer; 11 great-nieces and nephews; as several cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois.  Cremation will follow the visitation.
