Joseph Dominic Koudela, 94, of Collinsville, Illinois, born August 4th, 1930, died November 10th, 2024, at the hospital. Joe retired in 1992 after 40 years with Hunter Meat Packing Companies. He was a member of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

He enjoyed the simple things in life. Watching Cardinals baseball, fishing, and visiting local establishments for a beer with friends. He was also involved with the community in his younger days. From a City Council Member in Collinsville, to singing in the church choir, as well as being a board member at the Maryville Parish.

He was proceeded in death by his wife of 38 years, Gaila (1991) and his son Dana (2008). Parents Joseph and Mary Koudela, his sisters Josephine Kubicki, Betty Skrabacz, and brother Daniel Koudela.

Surviving is a sister Constance Koudela of St. Paul Minnesota: a son Damian Koudela of Collinsville Illinois, a daughter Denise Koudela of Albertville Alabama, and a daughter-in-law, Jan Koudela-Kezely of Red Bud Illinois, four grandchildren: Ryan, Megan, BJ, and Dani; Eight Great-Grandchildren: Braden, Maia, Kamry, Kruz, Addison, Dyllan, Landri, and Archer.
