Joseph Mark Mueller, 64, of Collinsville, IL, born July 16, 1953 in St. Louis Mo, passed away into God's loving hands on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home.

He graduated from Collinsville High School in 1971.  Mark worked most of his life in retail, most notably at Imber's Men's Wear and Floyd's Flowers in Collinsville.  He was very active in the Collinsville Jaycees and the Italian Fest Committee.  Mark was very artistic and loved to share his talents with others.  One of his greatest joys was decorating for and celebrating Christmas.  His Christmas trees were beautiful works of art and were admired by many.  He also loved to dog sit for his friends 'fur babies'.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Mueller and his grandparents, Joseph and Josephine Mueller and William and Leona Foster.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth E. Mueller, brother Kurt (Terri) Mueller, two sisters, Pamela (Mark) Waltermire and Donna (Darrell) Ahlert. Mark loved his many nieces and nephews: Heather Mueller (Clint) Jones, Nathan Mueller, Chad Mueller, Kyla (Sean Gorman) Waltermire, Kendra (Amanda) Waltermire, Krista (Joseph) Basuel, Diedra (Brad) Bollmann, and Darla Ahlert.  He also found great joy in his great nieces and nephews: Merin Gibson, Luke Jones, Maddox Jones, Emelia Mueller, Clark Waltermire, Moira Gorman, Gabriella Basuel, and Tyler Bollmann.  He is also survived by special friends, Donna Malm and Richard Malm.

Mark had a love for life and will be missed by family and friends.  Memorials can be made to Partners For Pets, St Jacob, IL. A Celebration of life Service will be held on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Herr Funeral Home Collinsville IL. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home
