Celebrating The Life Of Joyce Ann Barker

Joyce Ann Barker, 82, of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024. Joyce was born on August 23rd, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Bertha (Streb) Femmer.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jim Barker, who is her friend, companion and soulmate forever; Son, Scott Keeton and Family; Son Ralph Barker and Family; Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many numerous family members and friends.

Joyce was a longtime Christian member of St James Lutheran Church in Glen Carbon, Illinois.

In her lifetime, Joyce was a real estate consultant and appraiser.

Her many artistic talents included:

Gifted woodcarver,

Painter,

Quiltmaker,

Egg shell cutting designer of intricate patterns (President of the St Louis Missouri Egg Guild).

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 at St James Lutheran Church.

A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 pm.
