Joyce A. Erno was called home to her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Maryville, IL.

Joyce was born October 4, 1942 in Belleville, IL to Leonard and Ethel (Agne) Matychowiak.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald D. Erno, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter Cheri L. Erno, her sister Sylvia (Anthony) Riester of Troy, IL, and brother David (Carol) Matychowiak of Saco, Maine.

Joyce worked for the Caseyville Township as a secretary and retired after 20 years.  She was in many organizations; St. Ann Altar Society, St. Stephens Caseyville, Caseyville Township Credit Union, a passed member of St. Stephens School Board, Euchartisic Minister of St Stephens and St. Vincent DePaul and a current member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.

A visitation has been scheduled for April 9, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 am, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL and a mass will follow at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Valhalla Garden Cemetery, Belleville, IL.

Memorials can be made in memory of Joyce to, Elks Children Care, Fairview Heights, IL or Shriners Hospital.
