MASCOUTAH- Joyce L. Kebel, 87, of Mascoutah, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at HSHS St. Elizabeth''s Hospital in O''Fallon, IL.

Joyce was born November 9, 1930 in East St. Louis to Ben and Dorothy Turner Ashmann. She married Larry Kebel; they later divorced. She then met the love of her life, Arnold Middendorff, who passed away with 2002.

Surviving is her daughter, Linda (Bill) Gray of Mascoutah, IL; one granddaughter, Christina (Michael) Herrin of Shiloh, IL; and one great-grandson, Devin Kelemetc of Shiloh, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Patricia Torrez; and one brother, David Ashmann.

For 20+ years, Joyce worked as a presser for Martha Manning Dress Factory. She was a talented artist with both oil and tole painting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

VISITAION: A visitation for Joyce will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 4:00P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Ron Habermehl will officiate. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Granite City, IL.
