Joyce M. nee Chambliss Rudis, 73, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Saturday April 22, 2017 at her residence.

Joyce worked for the Collinsville Herald for 16 years. She then worked for 14 years as an outside sales rep. for the Belleville News Democrat.

Joyce was born May 23, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to Carl and Flossie nee Galloway, Chambliss. She married Franklin Rudis on June 19, 1982 in Collinsville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2010. She was also preceded by her parents and one son Danny Rosenkranz and her two brothers Jerry and Carl "Pat" Chambliss. Also brother-in-laws Edward, Charlie and
Roland Rudis. Former husband Ronald "Willkie" Rosenkranz.

Joyce is survived by two daughters Susie (Raymond) Kivlehen and Christine Rosenkranz of Collinsville, Illinois, step son Frank (DeeDee) Jr. of Louisiana daughter-in-law Gail Rosenkranz of Collinsville, Ill and sisters-in-law Marlene (Louie) Hall of Collinsville, Ill., Pat Rudis of Collinsville, Ill, Dorothy Rudis of Louisiana and Louise Rudis of Illinois., brother-in-law Bruce (Dottie) Rudis of Collinsville, Ill., Eight grandchildren Ashley (Angela) Rosenkranz, Taylor (Sarah) Schwierjohn, Lauren Nichols, Haley Kivlehen Erin Rosenkranz, Sydney Kivlehen, Cole Rudis and Jordan Rudis. Two Great Grandchildren Kamryn Jerome and Nash Nichols. And her furry companion Abbey.
