Judith Elaine Rogers, 71, of Caseyville, Illinois passed away at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill. on Wednesday April 5, 2017. Judith was born in E. St. Louis, Ill on January 12, 1946 the daughter of the late John and Ernestine, nee Hannah, Burchfield. Proceeded in death by her brother John (Buddy) Burchfield, Jr. and son John Edward Rogers.

Judith was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend and will be missed by her family She attended Bethel Baptist Church in Caseyville, Ill.

Judith is survived by her husband Jimmie whom she married November 3, 1962. She is also survived by children Vicki (Michael) Weis of Mascoutah, Ill., Melissa (Jeff) Sommers of Fairview Heights, Ill. and daughter-in-law Rosey
Rogers of Mansfield, Ohio. Three grandchildren Brandon (Becky) Weis of Belleville, Ill., Erica Rogers of Caseyville, Ill. and Zachary Sommers of Fairview Heights, Ill. Three great grandchildren Christopher, Isabelle and Liam and her sister Mary Ann (Robert) Jones.

Memorials may be given to either the Heartland Hospice or Leukemia Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family through this online guestbook.

Visitation: Friends may call on Sunday April 9, 2017 at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Service: Funeral service will be conducted on Monday April 10, 2017 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Evans officiating. Interment to follow at the Caseyville Cemetery in Caseyville, Illinois.
