Judith M Miller, 84, of Wildwood, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Garden View Care Center in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Judith was born on December 1, 1940, in Granite City, Illinois, a daughter of Dwight and Helen (Falter) Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Gerold and James Jackson, sister Joyce (Jackson) Lignoul, former husband Harold Miller, husband Richard Miller, and grandson Nathan Miller.
Judith married Harold Miller in 1957, they divorced after 19 years of marriage. Together they had two sons, David and Steven. Judith later married Richard Miller, a marriage lasting over 40 years.
Judith worked as a telephone switchboard operator in her early years, then as a receptionist and assistant for a physician in Granite City until she moved to Glen Carbon where she worked for a pediatrician for almost 20 years until he retired. Her last job was with Madison County Assessor's office in Edwardsville until retiring with Richard at their wooded getaway cabin outside of Lonedell, Missouri. Judith enjoyed traveling with her husband, family, and friends most often to sandy beaches.
Judith is survived by her sons David B. Miller of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Steven G. (Trish) Miller of Wildwood, Missouri, grandchildren Samantha L. and Nicole S. Miller of Wildwood, Missouri, Candice L. Delarm of Edwardsville, Zachary T. Miller of Statesville, North Carolina, and a great granddaughter, Stevie of Wildwood, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial visitation for Judith will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon.
Inurnment will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
