Julia J. (Stallard) Gude, age 73 of Glen Carbon, IL, died at 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

She was born in Tulsa, OK on Thursday, February 22, 1940, the daughter of Ellis and Yvonne (Lambiotte) Stallard.

Survivors include two sons, Erick K. (Natalie) Gude of San Diego, CA, and Daniel J. (Mary) Gude of Sanoma, CA; a daughter, Suzanne E. (Peter) Morris of Napa, CA; two sisters, Dianne E. (Sam) Funkhouser of Highland and Sylvia Brandt of Edwardsville. Julia is also survived by her partner of 32 years Michael Hanei; three nephews: Greg, Chris, and Mike Brandt; and one neice, Connie Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frederick Gude.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
