Karen Janet Davis, 81, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at St. Clare Hospital, Fenton, Missouri.

Karen was born October 18, 1939, to Avery and Rita (Sitton) Grant in Tamms, Illinois.

She enjoyed reading, painting, quilting and crocheting. Old black and white western and war movies were her favorite to watch.  She loved being with her family and doing any activities that included them.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nathaniel L. Davis Jr.; and a brother, Wilfred Grant.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen (Brandi) Davis of Peabody, Massachusetts; son, Keith Edward Davis of Florida; sister, Sandra (Donald) Niemeyer of Patoka, Illinois; grandchildren:  Brittani Wilson and Emilea Wilson; great grandchildren: Braden Wilson and Harley Mantia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Habermehl officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
