Karen Louise Long, nee Mikulait, 72, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sunday, Sept. 20, 1942, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Karen loved her family and enjoyed spending time in her garden.
She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Anita, nee Barnes, Mikulait.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Long Jr., of Collinsville, Ill., whom she married on Oct. 7, 1961; daughters, Christine (David) Anielak of St. Jacob, Ill., and Amy Long of Collinsville, Ill.; sister, Shirley (Richard) Soldavini of Navato, Calif.; two grandchildren, Melissa (Joshua) Gibson of Mattoon, Ill., and Nathan Anielak of St Jacob, Ill.; and a great-grandson, Isaac Gibson.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
