Obituary

Katherine Jean Becker, 68, of Highland, Illinois, passed away at her home on May 18, 2021.

Kathy was born July 16, 1952, to James Walter and Betty Jean (Bond) Lilley in East St. Louis, Illinois.  She and Andrew H. Becker were married July 24, 1967.  Kathy previously worked for Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra as a cna for 10 years, then for Faith Countryside Homes in Highland for 20 years in transportation.

She enjoyed gardening, camping, and flowers.  She especially loved shopping and "buying stuff", she also enjoyd her trips to Branson.  Her dogs were very loved by her.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Andrew H. Becker; mother, Betty Tenllado; sons: Andrew J. Becker and wife Kacey, and Matthew James Becker and wife Jackie; daughter, Jenny Nagle and husband Curt, sister, Betty Jean Shope and husband Greg; brother, James Walter Lilley and wife Sharon; grandchildren: Kim Becker, Nicole Hayden Andrew Hayden, Katie Nagle, Chris Nagle, Tim Nagle, Joey, Alex, Alissa, Matthew, and Dominic; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Herr Funeral Home of Collinsville, Illinois.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Habermehl officiating.

Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Belleville, Illinois.
