Kathleen A. Armstrong, 67, of Collinsville, IL, born October 5, 1952 in East St. Louis to Dorothy (nee McCormick) and the late Charles Fischer, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in St. Louis, MO.

Kathleen was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and St. John United Church of Christ. She worked as a librarian, most recently in Cahokia.

In addition to her father, Kathleen is preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Brine and brother, Steve Fischer.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband whom she married October 26, 1974, Paul Armstrong; children Melissa (Jeremy Borell) Armstrong-Brine of Cleveland, OH; Stephanie (Brandon) Dahl of Olivette, MO; Cindy (Daniel) Torrence of Kansas City, MO; Patrick (Katie) Armstrong of Glen Carbon, IL; Phillip Armstrong of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren, Austin; Mya; Owen; Clara; Chloe; Nala; Caroline; Ben; sister, Karen (Ed) Palmer of Edwardsville, IL; as well as many friends and distant relatives.

Visitation: Friends may gather with the family Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9:30 to 11 am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, IL.

Mass: The funeral service will begin at 11 am, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic church with Father John Beveridge officiating.
