Kathleen M. Heinlein, nee Shannon, 39, of Collinsville, Ill., born on Dec. 9 1973, in Belleville, Ill., passed away at 7:23 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Mrs. Heinlein was a secretary for the Unit 10 School District. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Maryville, Ill.

Surviving are her husband, Eric Heinlein of Collinsville, Ill., whom she married on Nov. 23, 1996; daughter, Brooke Heinlein of Collinsville, Ill.; son, Lance Heinlein of Collinsville, Ill.; parents, Robert Shannon Jr., of Caseyville, Ill., and Joan Shannon of Smithton, Ill.; father and mother-in-law, Jeff and Sandy Heinlein of Collinsville, Ill.; brothers, Robert (Judy) Shannon of Lebanon, Ill., Jeff (Christy) Shannon of Philadelphia, Pa., Pat Shannon of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Mike Shannon of Caseyville, Ill.; and nephew, Justin Shannon of Columbia, Mo.

Funeral: Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at the funeral home with Father Joseph Havrilka officiating. Interment in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, Ill.
