Obituary

Kay Lynn (Katie) White, 37 of Collinsville, IIllinois, went to be with God and her family that went before her, Friday June 10, 2016. She was born September 12, 1978 to Rolla (Debbie) Hessel and Debbie (Evans) Shutt and was the beloved wife of Joe White II, mother of Sam Lowe, Tyler White and Tristan White.

The happiest part of Katie''s life was when she could spend time with people she considered the most important part of her life, her family. Katie enjoyed being part of a large family with four brothers; Ryan (Christa) Shutt, Jonathan (Lisa) Hessel, Nathan (Stephanie) Hessel and Tyler (Elisha) Hessel. Katie was close and devoted to her Aunt Kathy, Jamie, Jessica, Aunt LaNae (Terry), Uncle Buddy (Brenda), Uncle Jim (Denise) and all her cousins.

Her family tree had many branches which allowed Katie to touch so many lives. Other branches of her tree included her deeply loved Father and Mother-in-law, Joe and Kate White, Katie''s sister-in-law, proclaimed "sister", Sadie Hester, her brother-in-law Jarred White and Mother-in-law Dian Stewart. Katie was a perfect fit and felt right at home with the "Dutton" family. She will be deeply missed by them, and especially the three little ones; DJ, Ethan and Rory.

Katie loved being around and adored her 13 nieces and nephews: Chelsey, Brandon, Samantha, Troy, Devin, Kali, Stephanie, Kaden, Tegan, Vivi, Sophia, Max and Ivy Grace.

Katie was employed with Save-A-Lot for 19 years.

It if had wheels, fast engines or was played in a stadium, she loved it.
Katie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jim and Millie Evans and paternal grandparents, John and Louise Hessel and one cousin, Kathy Hessel Brutton.
