Kenneth Martin Boike, also known affectionately as "Boogaloo" by his family, 57, of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, with his loved ones by his side. Kenneth was born on July 24, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan to parents, Kenneth and Carol (nee Kaiser) Boike. He married Kim Lee Nemeth on July 25, 1998 in Westland, Michigan.
Kenneth was an avid Detroit Red Wings hockey fan. He enjoyed watching wrestling, playing golf, and especially spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his step-father who raised him, Roy Dilcher; and father, Kenneth Boike.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 24 years, Kim Lee Boike; daughter, Korrin (Dan) Kearney; sons, Ryan Nemeth, Colton (Megan) Boike, and Austin Boike; grandchildren, Talan Nemeth and Evelyn Boike; mother, Carol Kaiser Dilcher Chalmers; sisters, Pamela (Ed) Arient and Jeannine Dilcher; brothers, John (Tanya) Boike, Jeff Boike, and life-long friend, Neal (Cheryl) Cline, who he affectionately called his brother; nieces, Kristin (Bryan) Johnson, Krissie (Trevor) Walz, Megan Buford, and Danielle and Rachelle Dilbone; nephews, Michael (Crystal) Boike, Jonathan Boike, Alan "A.J." Boike, Joshua (Sarah) Hogg, Jason Buford, and Logan (Ciera) Dilbone; and mothers-in-law, Sherryl Sexton and Kathleen Dobbelstein.
Funeral services will be held in Michigan, at a later date.
