Kevin James Kinnear, 44, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 8, 1969, in Belleville, Ill., passed away at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Kevin was an electrician and contractor and owned AOK Contracting. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore C. Kinnear.

Surviving are his wife, Kayc, nee Knecht, Kinnear, whom he married on Feb. 14, 2003; a daughter, Ashley Kinnear of Collinsville, Ill.; his mother, Sandra, nee Parkinson, Kinnear of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister, Kimberly Kinnear of Collinsville, Ill.; and a brother, Kirk Kinnear of Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo., with Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating. Per request cremation will be accorded.
