Larry E. "Boogie" Tyler Jr., 40, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on June 8, 2021, at
Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.

Boogie was born February 26, 1981, in Belleville, Illinois.

He served his country as a United States Marine for over ten years, was very patriotic and
his service was a source of pride for him. He was an amazing father with a huge heart.
Boogie enjoyed riding motorcycles, shooting guns, fishing, hunting and hiking.

It was Boogie's wish that his organs be donated which helped save three lives.

Boogie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Nancy Williams.

Survivors include: his wife, Brooke Tyler of Greenville, Illinois; parents Terri and
Donald Cary Sr. of New Douglas, Illinois; children Leah Tyler, Ashtin Watt, Liberty
Tyler, and soon to be born son Legend Tyler; brother Donald (Britany) Cary Jr. of
Maryville, Illinois; aunt Janet Williams of New Douglas, Illinois; uncles Joseph (Shelley)
Williams of Collinsville, Illinois, and Willie Williams of Collinsville, Illinois; as well as
numerous cousins, other family members, and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at
Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday,
June 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks
National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with full Military Honors.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that any memorials be made to the
family or military organization of their choice.
