Larry E. Williams, 72, of Alhambra, Ill., born Friday, March 26, 1943, in Carbondale, Ill., died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Larry was an avid book reader, and loved Mozart and classical music.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Lynette Williams; his father, Earl Zimmerman; and a brother, Gerald Zimmerman.

Surviving are his wife, Linda, nee Richard, Williams of Alhambra, Ill.; three daughters, Erin (Fiance Greg Keyse) Williams of Denver, Colo., Andrea (Fiance Tony Cox) Williams of Hamel, Ill. , and Heather (Dion) Starkey of Alhambra, Ill.; his mother, Helen, nee Hill, Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Tristen Starkey, Autumn O'Brien, Alex (Rachel) Williams, Alyssa Starkey, and Austin O'Brien. He will also be missed by his cat, Socks.
