Lavenia L. Forester's Obituary
Lavenia L. Forester, 58, of Caseyville, Ill., born Oct. 19, 1957, in Granite City, Ill., passed away May 12, 2016, in Caseyville, Ill.
Lavenia valiantly served her country as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. While in the U.S. Army, she received numerous awards and citations. Lavenia was proud to have served her country.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Carlene, nee Hunter, Forester; brothers, Jason Matthew Forester and Carl John Forester; and her sister, Mary Ann Forester.
Surviving are her son, Eric John Capps; and brothers and sisters, Regina Kay (Mel) Kratzer, Charles Lee Forester, Timothy J. Forester, Jeff Forester and Lisa Jean Forester.
In keeping with her giving personality, her wishes were to be donated to Washington University School of Medicine in hopes of helping others.
Funeral: There will be a memorial tribute service scheduled at a later date with full military honors.
