LaVerne Mae Rupprecht, 93, of O'Fallon, Illinois, passed away Sunday, January 20 ^th , 2019 in Belleville, Illinois. She was born August 20 ^th , 1925 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Clarence and Clara (Chartrand) Thereon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Rupprecht, granddaughter, Kathy Rupprecht, sisters, Jean Thereon and Clara Rose (Bob) McMillin and a baby brother that died in infancy.

LaVerne is survived by daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Worms of O'Fallon, Illinois, son, Clarence (Linda) Rupprecht of Caseyville, Illinois, grandchildren, Andrea (Brad) Buskirk and Kelly (Ron) Sneed, great-grandchildren, Adam (Sarah) Buskirk, Aaron (fiancé Kayla Alberternst) Buskirk, Kelsey (Jacob) Burns, Ronnie (Stefanie) Sneed, Brittany and Jessica Sneed, and great-great-grandchildren, Josie Buskirk and Hattie and Ellis Burns, and numerous nieces and nephews.

LaVerne retired after 27 years at Aitkens Grocery, in both East St. Louis and O'Fallon. She was a member of the Caseyville United Methodist Church, loved to play Bingo and cherished her friend, Helen North and her good neighbors, Buttimers and the Erwins.

Visitation will be Friday, January 25 ^th , 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois.

Funeral will start at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 25 ^th , 2019 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow In Valhalla Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to Caseyville United Methodist Church or to American Ex-Prisoners of War. And may be received at the funeral home.
