Leona Marie Peskar, 81 of Collinsville, IL passed away July 14, 2022 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Leona was the daughter of  the late Manuel and Marie (nee Miller) Hancock born February 3, 1941 in East St. Louis IL.

Survived by her husband of 61 years Robert Eugene Peskar; her children Matt Peskar, Mike Peskar, Caroline Peskar and Debbie Gerstner.  She is  also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and many family and friends.

Leona was a retired real estate agent.  She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone that knew her.

Visitation will be held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 207 Vandalia Street, Collinsville, on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Father John Beveridge officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded with inurment to follow at a later date, at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, 10101 West Main St, Belleville, IL.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
