Leona P. Revelle

Leona P. (Hester) Revelle, 89, of Granite City, IL., born January 8, 1930, in Centerville, MO., passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, in Granite City IL.

Leona was a loving and dedicated mother who very much loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed fishing, of course which led to the family sharing "fish stories".

She is proceeded in death by her companion Bannon "Lee" Hester; her parents, Jesse H. and Lora, nee Hickman, Buford; her son Michael Nickolich; her brothers, Euel Buford and Paul Buford.

Surviving are her loving daughter Sandy Allen of Granite City,IL.; her son Randy (Lyn) Hester of Irvington, IL; her sister Helen Floyd of Granite City, IL.; her 8 grandchildren,14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2019, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2019, at the funeral home.  Grave side services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April, 30, 2019, at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.
