Leonard J. Randant, 80, of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 1, 1932, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 3:43 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Randant retired form the Collinsville Police Department after 25 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, a member of the American Legion, the Town and Country Gun Club and was a US Marine veteran. He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Helen, nee Gannon, Randant; and two brothers, Thomas and William.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou, nee Boedeker, Randant of Collinsville, Ill.; daughters and sons, Patricia (Kevin) Gasawski of Belleville, Ill., David Randant of Collinsville, Ill., Daniel Randant of Collinsville, Ill., Julie (John) Mink of Collinsville, Ill., and Stephen (Laura) Randant of Collinsville, Ill.; nine grand children: Daisy, Elaine, Dennis, Robert, Jacqueline, Jennifer, Nathan, Eric And Lisa; and three great-grand children, Corbin, Boden and Zoe.

Funeral: Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, Ill., with Father John Beveridge officiating. Interment in Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
