Leroy W. Morris Sr., 91 of Alhambra IL, born October 4, 1928 in Washington Park, IL to the late John W. Morris and Mary Elizabeth (Hamm) Morris passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Maryville, IL.

Leroy worked for Granite City Steel Co., for over 32 years and was a member of the MasonicLodge;, he served his country in the US Army in the Korean War, he was an avid woodcarver as well.

In addition to his parents, Leroy is preceded in death by his loving wife Naomi (Robertson) Morris his son Leroy W. Morris Jr. and his grandson Charles Morris.

Those left to cherish his memory include children, Linda (Danny) Wilson of Mt. Olive IL; Steven Morris of Texas; Brenda (Mark) Studnicki of Bethalto IL; Leroy had 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Due to the current state restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic there will be a private burial at Sunset Hill Memorial Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
