Leslie I. Farmer Jr., 90, of Collinsville, born September 25, 1929, to the late Leslie and Rachel (nee Hayes) Farmer Sr., in Bolliver, MO, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019, in Collinsville, IL.

After high school, Leslie joined the Army Air Corps and United States Air Force where he served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired after 30 years of service.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Shelly Goeddel of Collinsville, IL; Terri Farmer of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Kari Goeddel; Keith Goeddel; Kelly Goeddel; great-grandchildren, Drake Blanton; Grace Goeddel; several grand dogs; as well as many friends and extended family.

Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
