Lester G. Pringle, 71 of Collinsville, IL, born March 26, 1948, in Corning, AR to the late Eli L. and Maudie A. (nee Rush) Pringle, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in Maryville, IL.

Lester retired as a field technician with Southwestern Bell after 35 years of service. He was an Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion and Southwestern Bell Pioneers. Lester was also a very dedicated member of the Collinsville Recreation Club. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing but he loved spending time with his family the most.

In addition to his parents, Lester is preceded in death by his loving wife Becky (nee Martin) Pringle; brothers, Dale Pringle; Christopher Pringle; and nephew, Fred Pringle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Greg (Eileen) Pringle; grandchildren, Jacob Pringle; Lucas Pringle; and brother, Fred (Cissy) Pringle.

The family will be holding a private service at Herr Funeral Home. Lester will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO with full military honors immediately following the service.
