Linzey Ray Knight, 84, of Hazelwood, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.  He was born to proud parents Jesse and Verlene (nee Parker) Knight on March 10, 1940 in Kewanee, Missouri.

Linzey was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Upon returning from his service, he married Myra Presley and to this union two sons were born.  They spent many happy years together.  Linzey enjoyed outdoor activities as his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.  He made his living as a truck driver and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who delighted in time with his family.  He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Linzey was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Verlene Knight and four brothers, Eugene Knight, Gary Knight, David Knight and Ronnie Knight.

His love and fond memories will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Myra Knight; two sons, Mark Knight and Scott (Kelly) Knight; three grandsons, Zachary (Kinzie) Knight, Kyle (Julianna) Knight, and Jordan (Dana) Knight; granddaughter, Alexandria (Joe) Pewitt; four great-grandsons, Carson Knight, Waylon Pewitt, Rhett Knight and Drake Roland; great-granddaughter, Heidi Pewitt; three brothers, Donald Knight, Mike Knight and Joel Knight; sister, Sherry Knight Talley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
